DIERA customs agency work in October
Audit activities in the monitoring of customs office authorisations
Another audit on compliance with the conditions and criteria of the customs office permits held is behind us. Thanks to their commitment, knowledge and ability to cope with the ever-changing regulatory environment, our customs agents once again rose to the challenge - the audit was completed successfully, without comment.
However, further challenges lie ahead. Due to the reform of customs' electronic systems, which must be compatible with others used in EU countries, the changes will have a significant impact on the way customs declarations are processed. The operation of DIERA customs agents in the AIS+ AES+ and NCTS+ systems means that new processes have to be adapted and simplified procedures have to change. It also involves mastering different data structures, vocabularies or using completely new messages.
An important change in the market for customs services is the abolition of the so-called ‘Recognised Places’, in particular for export declarations. However, DIERA is authorised to operate temporary storage facilities and customs warehouses located under one roof, so our customers will not feel any change in the quality of service offered by our company.
This is evidenced by the intensification of cooperation with importers with warehouse logistics services and the use of a national forwarding organisation, the operation of which fills in the gaps in the supply chain to final customers.
Last week, we extended our cooperation with our regular customer importing foodstuffs. It involves coordinating their receipt from the port of Gdansk, organising transit clearance, taking cargo to a temporary storage warehouse, commercial quality and border sanitary inspections, import customs clearance and distribution of goods to various destinations in Poland. Thanks to the close cooperation with the responsible departments of DIERA sp. z o.o., the highest quality door-to-door service is provided to the customer.
The first deliveries already arrived at the temporary storage warehouse last week.
